When I finished watching the final episode of “House of Cards”, season two, I felt the let-down and the withdrawal. When my Windsor Whip Works Art exhibition closed, I felt the same thing. Two years of work, showcased for one month, how quickly it’s over. A few pieces sold and the opening and closing receptions brought in a nice lively group of art enthusiasts.
Now it’s time to move on and explore outside the region. Several years ago I got work in a nice variety of galleries throughout the east coast most notably Charleston, SC, and south Florida in Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Naples. It was a lot of work to hustle and ship but it was validating when the work was exhibited and sold. It’s time for a new market.
New goals and new clientele, a challenge I look forward to accomplishing.
